Colours are what make life so beautiful! One would dread to see a black and white movie these days! And when it’s cricket, colours play a big role again. While it was witnessed how Australia slipped from its huge pedestal, after switching from their lucky yellow, Deccan Chargers on the other hand got all charged up, and how! From being at the bottom last year to climbing up the charts rapidly this year after replacing beige and black with blue in their jerseys, they caught everyone by surprise!

On the KKR team owner SRK’s birthday, it was predicted that he would have a difficult year ahead as he would enter his 44th year, and 4+4=8 governed by Saturn. Number 8. Black is the same hue of Saturn and is known to be inauspicious. New Zealand has not done well since so many years sporting black. Forget winning a Word Cup, it has hardly made a mark otherwise too. IF you thought cricket was all about batting, bowling and fielding, think again. Many of our players believe that performance is driven by stars, numbers and precious stones. After losing four games, the Royal Challengers has now bounced back with three wins. Two of them have been under the captaincy of ace spinner Anil Kumble.
The spinner, considered to have one of the best economy rates in the IPL, has “now got his team back into the reckoning with his captaincy. And, if anyone has noticed, Kumble has been wearing a number 37 jersey instead of his usual number 8. Is there a connection? |

Numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani says he suggested to Anil Kumble that he wear 37 instead of 8. “Towards the end of his career, at the age of 37, Anil was advised to wear a diamond. He did so and he was announced the captain of the Test team. The total of 37 gives us 1, which is the sign of the rising sun. It means recognition of leadership. This is why just a few days before the IPL series, I suggested that he wear the number 37 jersey. And if you notice, he has been doing very well, as a bowler and captain,” says Sanjay.
But what was wrong with 8? “It’s the sign of Saturn, which brings success only after a lot of struggle. And Kumble has struggled a lot throughout his career,” adds Sanjay. |
